Before your treatment
Avoid blood thinning medication for two weeks before your procedure and coffee and alcohol for a day or two before to minimise the risk of bruising. It’s also a good idea to take arnica pills, which are available from most health shops.
What to expect on the day
We will clean the area to be treated. Because the injection needle we use for this treatment is very fine, you won’t need any numbing cream.
Aftercare
There isn’t any downtime but you may experience slight bruising or itching around the injection point. As the fatty deposits are expelled via your lymphatic system, it’s normal to pee more often than normal for the first few days after your treatment, so make sure you drink lots of water.
What to expect
You’ll normally achieve your desired results after one to three sessions on your face, while body treatments vary depending on the individual and area, and may take up to eight sessions. Everyone is different so results may vary. If you need several treatments, we recommend you have them 3 weeks apart.
