VITAMIN INJECTIONS

VITAMIN INJECTIONS

We get the vitamins we need by eating a healthy, varied diet and, in the case of vitamin D, directly from the sun.
However, as we age we absorb them less, and some health conditions can make this worse. Vitamin deficiencies can cause tiredness, poor skin, hair and nail health, anaemia, heart palpitations, brain fog, gut issues, low immunity and that nasty feeling of just being generally run down.

Our vitamin shot treatments are painless, take less than a minute, and can leave you feeling like yourself again.

NEW TO VITAMIN SHOTS?

Most people can take vitamin shots without any side effects, but if you have any preexisting health conditions or are taking medication, please consult your doctor or pharmacist first.

If you have Lieber’s disease, kidney problems, a cobalt allergy, or low potassium, iron or folic acid levels, consult your doctor before having a vitamin B 12 shot.

You don’t need to prepare for vitamin shots and there’s no downtime. Some people experience mild nausea but it will pass quickly.

Vitamin B12
A lack of vitamin B12 can cause tiredness, poor metabolism, brain fog,  insomnia and general feelings of being run down. Low levels of B12 are particularly common in vegans, older people and anyone with anaemia or gastrointestinal conditions.

One of our shots can put a spring back in your step, and regular injections will make you feel like yourself again.

We recommend a monthly dose for anyone who needs their levels topped up regularly or a shot whenever you feel run down.

Vitamin B7 – Biotin
Lack of biotin can cause brittle nails and hair, hair loss, scaly skin around the eyes and mouth, depression, tiredness, memory loss and tingling feelings in the arms and legs.  Biotin is particularly helpful for anyone on antibiotics or with gut health issues.

Our biotin shots will restore your glowing skin, strengthen your hair and nails, and make you feel better on the inside too

We recommend one shot per week for six weeks, then one shot every six weeks.

Vitamin C
Lack of vitamin C can cause rough bumpy skin, bleeding gums, swollen joints, weak bones, fatigue and easy bruising, amongst other conditions.

Our vitamin C shots can nurse you back to glowing health and help protect you from winter colds and other minor ailments.

The suggested dose depends on the severity of your lack, and we will make a recommendation at your consultation.

Vitamin D
Vitamin D is known as the sunshine drug  – we absorb it from the sun through our skin. So those of us who live in colder, darker places can often become deficient, especially in winter, leading to depression, generally feeling run down, aches and pains, hair loss and frequent infections.

A shot of the sunshine drug can restore your general health, refresh your glow and brighten your mood.

We recommend a weekly shot for six weeks followed by a shot every six weeks.
